Biography

Charles Thaon was a French speed skater who was active during the 1920s. Thaon competed in three events at the 1928 St. Moritz Olympics with a best result of 26th coming in the 1,500 metres. The following year he set a French record in the 500 metres with his personal best of 46.8 seconds. Later he acted as Secretary General of the Fédération francaise des sports de Glace (French Federation of Ice Sports).

Personal Bests: 500 – 46.8 (1929); 1500 – 2:44.2 (1928); 5000 – 10:09.0 (1927).
