François Vallier was a French cross-country skier who represented CSHB in Briançon. Vallier came first in a 45 km cross-country race in 1927 to win the Coupe de France. In the following year, he was second in the French Nordic Combined Championship behind Martial Payot. These results earned him a place on the Olympic team for the 1928 St. Moritz Games, where he finished 28th in the 18 kilometres event.
