Joachim Wenzke was an East German flatwater canoeist who finished sixth with the K4-1,000 meters squad at the 1968 Mexico Olympics. In 1963 he won the East German national K2-500 meters title, and in 1971 secured the K1-1,000 meters title. Wenzke later became a canoeing coach.
