Biography

Willy Voneschen was a Swiss skeleton racer. Voneschen competed in skeleton at the 1928 St. Moritz Olympics. He completed the first of three runs but did not finish the second run.

Voneschen was one of two twin sons born in 1893 to Samedan postmaster Stephan Voneschen He later worked in the hotel industry, owning and managing hotels in Samedan, Locarno and Churwalden. One of his brothers was Edy Voneschen (1892–1982), a noted painter of Swiss landscapes.
