Georges Wagemans of Bruxelles was an active member of the Belgian figure skating scene in the early 1920s, both as a competitor and judge. He was one of the first Belgian figure skaters to compete at the Olympic Games, doing so in 1920 in Antwerpen alongside Gérardine Herbos in the mixed pairs competition. They also competed at Chamonix in 1924, where they achieved their best result, a fifth place finish out of ten other pairs. Domestically, he won the men’s championship title in 1921. Wagemans retired from competition shortly after 1924.
