Biography
Robert Wampfler made his only appearance at the Winter Olympics in the 50 km in 1928. He also competed in the 1930 World Championships in Oslo, where he was placed 79th in the 17 km and 65th in the 50 km. Between 1933-36 he was chairman of his home club, SC Zweisimmen, and in his private life ran an auto repair shop.
