Oldřich Zábrodský was a defenseman who had a relatively short career, playing at the senior elite level from 1945-51. He played for LTC Praha in Czechoslovakia, but played his last three seasons in Switzerland, first with HC Davos and the with Lausanne HC. His only international tournament was at the 1948 Winter Olympics, where he won a silver medal. He was the brother of the more renowned hockey player, but one who was somewhat controversial, Vladimír Zábrodský.
