Asen Tsankov was a Bulgarian sportsman who competed in both skiing and tennis. Tsankov was selected to compete in the Alpine skiing event at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. It took him almost 11 minutes to complete the downhill element, with him not finishing in the slalom. He had much better success on the tennis court, becoming a four-time Bulgarian champion from 1939 to 1942.
