Biography

Sabine Egger was an Austrian Alpine skier who specialised in slalom disciplines. She participated at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and placed fifth in the slalom event. The following year she won the slalom overall World Cup. Also in 1999, Egger was awarded the Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria. In total, she won two World Cup races and three national titles (1996-97, 1999).
