Biography

Austrian Alpine skier Ingrid Salvenmoser specialized in slalom events and participated in only one Winter Olympics, 1998 at Nagano, where she finished sixth in the slalom. At the 1991 World Championships she earned a bronze medal. Domestically, she won three titles: giant slalom in 1988 and 1991, and slalom in 1991.

Salvenmoser was also a state-certified ski instructor and had a diploma in training. She founded her own skiing school at her place of birth, Scheffau in 2004
