Biography

Brigitte Obermoser was an Austrian Alpine skier who competed at the 1998 Nagano and the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. She finished 11th in the Alpine combined in 1998 and 18th in the downhill and 15th in the giant slalom in 2002. In total, she won three World Cup races, one in downhill, one in super-G, and one in giant slalom.

Domestically, Obermoser won seven titles, four in super-G (1999, 2000, 2003 and 2005), two in downhill (1997, 1999), and one in combined (1999). In 2007, she declared her retirement and founded her own fitness centre. She also became vice president of the Salzburg Regional Skiing Federation.
