Max Plötzeneder was an Austrian snowboarder who specialized in halfpipe events. He participated at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and was eliminated in the qualification round, finishing 24th eventually. He retired directly after the Nagano Games. Plötzeneder later worked with NITRO Snowboards developing new equipment.
