German snowboarder Sabine Wehr-Hasler specialized in halfpipe events and won the bronze medal at the 1997 World Championships. She then participated in the 1998 Nagano and 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics but failed to reach the finals on both occasions. Occasionally, Wehr-Hasler also took part in snowboard cross events. She married Swiss snowboarder Patrik Hasler.
