Future Host Commission for the Games of the Olympiad ()

The Future Host Commission for the Games of the Olympiad and Future Host Commission for the Olympic Winter Games are new commissions formed under President Thomas Bach when the IOC adopted a new approach to choosing host cities for the Olympic Games. As of 2022 the chair of the commission is Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.

The mission of the Future Host Commission for the Games of the Olympiad is to explore, create, and oversee interest in future Games of the Olympiad and Summer Youth Olympic Games. The responsibilities of the Future Host Commission for the Games of the Olympiad include:

• Report regularly to the IOC Executive Board;
• Advise and provide recommendations to the IOC Executive Board regarding future hosts, enabling the Executive Board to react to various developments and opportunities pertaining to Future Host Elections; and
• Remain strictly neutral.
