The 1976 ski jumping schedule was split between two locations which was as it had been in 1964. The 70 m normal hill competition was located on the Toni-Seelos-Schanze in Seefeld whilst the 90 m large hill event returned to the Bergisel. All six medals were split between Austria and East Germany with the most successful athlete being Karl Schnabl who won a gold and a bronze.
