The Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumping Complex hosted the 1980 Winter Olympic ski jumping and competitions were held on the 70 m normal hill and the 90 m large hill. The outstanding teams were Austria and Finland who shared four medals between them and each produced an Olympic Champion.
