There were three music events in the 1928 Arts Competition – Compositions for Orchestra, Competitions for Solo or Chorus, and Instrumental and Chamber Music. There were 16 participants from nine nations. Because of the low number of entrants and the quality of the music only a bronze medal was awarded in all three events.
