The program noted that “each country to be represented by the representative who has been the most successful in the team competition”. This certainly was the case in the individual events at 33 and 50 metres. But it appears that at 28 metres, no Dutch athlete, specifically their top archer at this distance, Janus Theeuwes, competed.
