There were 29 separate events in the 26th Fête Fédérale de l’Union des Sociétés de Gymnastique de France competitions, which were held during the 1900 Paris International Exposition in the gymnastics category, although not all were gymnastics events, as fencing, boxing, and shooting were all contested. There were 8,050 competitors overall in the 29 different events. The team events held simultaneously were separated into five divisions, and the societies were able to choose the division in which they wished to compete. The divisions were as follows – Excellence, Superior, 1st Division, 2nd Division, 3rd Division. In the excellence division, there were 7 societies classified into three groups, with the event won by La Patriote de Croix, with 625 points out of a possible 660.
