German short track speed skater Susanne Busch participated in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. She finished eighth, and last, in the 3,000 metres relay B-final, which was her best result. Her greatest moment was in winning a bronze medal with the relay at the 1998 European Championships. This was the first ever international short track medal for Germany. From 1993-95 Busch won three German national titles.
