Martin Hohenberger

Martin, brother of Herbert Hohenberger, was an ice hockey defenceman who played at the 1998 Nagano and 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics representing Austria. The team was eliminated in the group stage in 1998 and placed 14th and last after losing a penalty shoot-out in the match for 13th place against Japan. Four years later at Salt Lake City, the team placed 12th. Hohenberger won 29 Austria international caps and scored six points (4+2).

During his career, Hohenberger played with ATS Graz, Graz 99ers, HC Innsbruck, HC Linz, Düsseldorfer EG Metro Stars, Revierlöwen Oberhausen, and Villacher SV. He later turned to coaching.
