Anton Julen was a corporal in the Swiss Army and cross-country skier. Julen and his brother Alfons, as well as Alfred Aufdenblatten and Denis Vaucher, won the gold medal in the military ski patrol at the 1924 Chamonix Olympics. Julen was a member of Skiclub Zermatt. His cousins Oswald and Simon were also Olympians, competing in the 1936 Nordic combined and the 1924 50 kilometres cross-country skiing respectively.
