Biography

Jeremy Bloom competed in freestyle skiing at the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympic Games, both times appearing in moguls. He was the 2003 World Champion in dual moguls, adding a silver in moguls that year, and a bronze in dual moguls at the 2005 Worlds. He won 10 gold medals on the World Cup circuit. Bloom was inducted into the National Ski Hall of Fame in 2013.

Bloom had the unusual sports combination of freestyle skiing and football (American), playing wide receiver and returning punts for the University of Colorado. Bloom was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round (147th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He was injured in 2006 and did not play, but went to the Eagles pre-season camp in 2007, although they released him before the regular season. He caught on with the Pittsburgh Steelers later that year and attended their 2008 training camp, but Bloom never played in a regular season NFL game.

Bloom was the 2003 CBS Superstars Champion, defeating nine other professional athletes. He later founded a software marketing company, Integrate. He has also worked as a college football and Olympic sports analyst for ESPN, Fox, NBC and the Pac-12 Network.
