Becky Wilczak was a luge slider who competed at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. She won a bronze medal at the 2001 World Championships in the mixed relay. She had been second in the 1998/99 Junior World Cup overall standings.
Wilczak got into luge when she was discovered during a slider tryout in Naperville, Illinois, near where she lived. She competed at Salt Lake City while her father was recovering from a liver transplant. He was able to fly to Salt Lake to watch her final runs of the Games.
