Torin Koos was a cross-country skier who was a four-time TeamUSA Olympian, specializing in the sprint events. His best Olympic finish was ninth in the 2010 team sprint, alongside Andy Newell.
Koos won six USA Championships and was a seven-time US SuperTour Champion. He competed in the World Cup with one podium, a third in a sprint event in Estonia in 2007. He also appeared at the World Championships six consecutive times between 2001 and 2011, placing 10th in team sprint in 2011.
Koos was a runner in college at the University of Utah, in addition to being on the ski team. He later studied in a master’s program in communications at Westminster College.
