Biography
Karin Fischer finished fifth with the German women’s curling team at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. They lost the tie-breaker 9-5 to Great Britain for a place in the semi-final. In 1993, she won a silver medal at the World Championships, and added a bronze the following year. Domestically Fischer played with Curling Club Füssen.
