Biography

Michaela Lanzl, sister of Andre Lanzl, was a German ice hockey forward who participated in two Winter Olympics, finishing sixth in 2002 at Salt Lake City and fifth in 2006 at Torino. She also played in four World Championships and won 144 international caps, scoring 63 goals and 37 assists.

At club level, Lanzl played with TuS Geretsried (until 2001), Wanderer Germering (2001), SC Riessersee (2002), HC Lugano (2003-04) and DSC Oberthurgau (2004-05) in Switzerland, University of Minnesota Duluth (2005-07) and Minnesota Whitecaps (2008-09) in the United States, and finally ESC Planegg, back in Germany, (2009-10). By profession, she became a marketing and events manager.
