Biography

Anja Scheytt was a German ice hockey forward who participated in two Winter Olympics, finishing sixth in 2002 at Salt Lake City and fifth in 2006 at Torino. She also played in eight World Championships and won 226 international caps, scoring 30 goals and 31 assists.

At club level, Scheytt played with Mannheimer ERC Wild Cats (until 2002), OSC Berlin (2002-13), and EC Bergkamen (2015-16). She helped Mannheim win the German national title in 1999 and 2000, and Berlin win it in 2006-07 and 2009-10. She played inline skater hockey with Spreewölfe Berlin since 2011. By profession, she owned the sports shop “Spirit of Hockey” in Berlin.
