David Hesser competed in both swimming and water polo at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. Hesser won a gold medal in water polo with the New York AC team, and also swam on their freestyle relay team. Hesser was entered in the 50 and 100 yard freestyles, but did not start either event. He lived in Ridgefield, New Jersey in the early 1900s.
