German heptathlete Claudia Tonn qualified for the 2004 Athens Olympics where she finished 12th overall. She had her personal best in 2006 at the International Meeting in Ratingen with 6,373 points. The previous year Tonn gained her only podium at the German nationals with a silver medal. She became a graduated physiotherapist by profession.
