Daughter of Cheryl Pedlow Bridges-Flanagan Treworgy, who set a world record for the Marathon on December 7, 1971. Cheryl Bridges ran her first marathon, finishing the Culver City Marathon in a then-world record time of 2:49:40, becoming the first woman to break 2:50:00 in the marathon. Her father, Steve Flanagan, was also a U.S. World Cross Country Champion participant and marathon runner.
