Toshiaki Fushimi was a track sprinter who competed at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, winning a silver medal in the team sprint in 2004 at Athina. He also won a World Cup team sprint event at Sydney, Australia in 2003.
Fushimi was mostly known as a keirin racer in Japan, accumulating over 400 victories in that pari-mutuel event. After his competitive career ended Fushimi became a derny pacer for keirin and served in that role at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
