Biography
Maurice Lysen played at either number two or as a back and played in both Belgium’s defeats, by Great Britain and the United States, at the 1920 Olympics. He played for the Antwerp Polo Club and won the 1908 Continental and Ouverture Cup before helping them win the Belgian Championship in 1911. His older brother Édouard was a friend of Alfred Grisar and was one of the four men who helped Grisar in the formative years of the Beerschot Football and Athletic Club in 1899.
