Donnan Plumb competed in dressage at the 1968 Olympics, and won a silver medal in team dressage at the 1967 Pan American Games. Born as Donnan Sharp, she was married to J. Michael Plumb at the time of the 1968 Olympics, although they later divorced. Sharp attended the Westover School in Middlebury, Connecticut and the Tower Hill School in Wilmington, Delaware. She later became a dressage coach, mainly for eventing riders.
