Biography

South Korean equestrian An Deok-Gi competed at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics where he finished 14th in the team event. An Deok-Gi had a lifelong affiliation with the sport and became the President of both the Korean Equestrian Association and the Asian Equestrian Association. For his work he was honoured with an achievement award at the annual Korea Sports Awards. Outside of equestrianism he joined Samsung in 1963, where he also later served as the organisation’s President.
