Karl Neumeister was an Austrian equestrian rider who participated in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He came 14th in the individual eventing event.
He was a highly decorated Oberst in the Wehrmacht during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, which was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Neumeister commanded the Panzergrenadier-Regiment 1.
