Biography
Hartmann Pauly competed for the US in dressage at the 1952 Olympics. He was from Hungary, although born in Germany, and qualified for the 1936 Hungarian Olympic team but did not compete. He was almost not allowed to compete for the United States in 1952 until he was able to prove that he had not competed in 1936.
