Jacinto Brito rode for Mexico at the 1960 Olympics in both the road race and team time trial. He later competed in the team time trial at the 1967 World Championships, helping Mexico to a 25th-place finish. At the Pan American Games he was second in the team road race in 1959 and third in team pursuit in 1963.
