Throughout his cycling career Roderick Chase represented the Berger Aces in Barbados, becoming a two-time national champion. Chase won his first title in 1987 with victory in the national road race, before winning the sprint title a year later. He also represented Barbados at the Olympics in 1988, riding in both the time trial and the points race on the track at the Seoul Games.
