A good track sprint cyclist, Adolfo Corsi was unlucky at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, finishing fourth in the tandem sprint with Francesco Malatesta. Corsi also competed in the sprint at the world championships that year but was eliminated in the quarter-finals. In 1929, he won the Italian sprint title but never obtained any further significant wins after that.
