Biography

Dave Grylls was a long-time student at San Diego State, graduating in 1985 after a 10-year college career that was frequently interrupted due to his racing schedule. Grylls made the ill-fated 1980 US Olympic team and competed at the 1979 and 1983 Pan American Games, winning gold medals in 1983 in the individual and team pursuit. Grylls won three US titles in 1978-79.
