Biography

Bohumil Kubrycht placed second in three Bohemian road racing championships: in 1907 behind Ladislav Janoušek, in 1908 behind non-Olympian Josef Klečka and in 1912 behind František Kundert. At the 1912 Olympic Games, he placed in the bottom part of the table, about 3 ½ hrs behind the winner. The Bohemian team with Kubrycht was eliminated in the team event, because only three of their five riders completed the race.

In the 1930s, the company “B. Kubrycht” was a well-known Czech manufacturer of racing bikes and motorbikes.
