Scott McKinley

Scott McKinley was a road racer who competed for the US at the 1988 Seoul Olympics in the individual road race, but finished back in the pack. His best year racing was 1987 when he won the Olmos Park Circuit Race, the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix and the Gladbeck-Toyota Criterium. He also won 1990 stage one of l’Étoile de Bessèges in France. McKinley retired from racing in 1996 and went into business where he was quite successful.

McKinley started in the Bay Area in 1996 with Cox Interactive Media and later worked with various companies in business and leadership effectiveness. In 1999 he founded and was CEO of SuiteSmart, and in 2005 founded FactorTG, an advertising analytics and optimization firm. He later worked with The Nielsen Company, a business marketing and advertising firm, serving as a vice-president and then head of Nielsen Innovation Lab.
