Austrian track cyclist Christian Meidlinger participated in the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. He competed in the 1,000 metres time trial and placed 13th and ninth respectively. From 1993-95 Meidlinger became Austrian national sprint champion, and in 1997 and 1998 won the 1,000 metres time trial titles. With Wolfgang Kotzmann he added the madison title in 1997.
