Biography

Jean-Pierre Muller was a cyclist from Luxembourg who was active during the late 1920s and the early 1930s. In 1928 Muller won the national amateur road race to earn a place on the Olympic team. At the Amsterdam Games he finished 34th in the individual road race, about 45 minutes behind the race winner. After the Olympics he had success back in Luxembourg, winning the national road race title in 1930, followed by the national cyclo-cross title in 1932. Later that same year Muller also rode in the Tour de France having several top-ten finishes, including fifth on stage three. He was only 38-years-old when he died in November 1948.
