Godtfred Olsen became known by winning the prestigious Fyn Tour in 1908. At the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, he placed 53rd in the individual road time trial and eighth with the team. His brother Hans also competed in the same event. Godtfred continued to be involved in his club’s social activities, winning the traditional cane race for ABC’s current and former board members.
Olsen married Johanne Rasmine Jørgensen, with whom he had three children.
