In addition to his Olympic appearance, Norbert Sinner was best for his work in the Luxembourg – Remich race, winning in 1927, placing second in 1926 and fourth in 1928. He also raced cyclo-cross, finishing third in the 1928 Luxembourg Cyclo-Cross Championships, and 10th in the 1928 Critérium International de Cyclo-Cross. Sinner later raced automobiles and was better known for his work in that sport. He raced a 2.3 litre Bugatti in the early 1930s, placing second at the Bupperich and the Grand Prix de l’AC Luxembourgeois in 1932, and third in 1933 at the Echternach Hillclimb. In 1933 he raced at Spa with Joseph Zigrand, in a 3 litre Bugatti. In 1945 Sinner was executed for collaborating with the Nazis during their occupation of Luxembourg.
