Biography

Laurent Tessier was a Canadian competitive cyclist who was active during the late 1940s. In 1947 Tessier became the national 50 kilometres road champion, earning himself a place on the Olympic team. At the London Games he competed in the road race and the team 4,000 metres pursuit on the track. Tessier had better results on the track than the road, including winning several six-day events in Ontario.
