Eddie Testa starting racing bikes after his older brother, Frank Testa, had also done so. After the Olympics Eddie Testa turned professional and raced on velodromes on the West Coast and in six-day races in the Northeast, Canada, and Argentina. In World War II he served as a crew chief in the Air Force, mostly in North Africa. He later worked at Warner Brothers and Universal Pictures in the movie industry.
