Nicknamed “Wunderkind,” Anders Pedersen was the first Danish boxer to win an Olympic medal. He fought as a flyweight, bantamweight and featherweight. In 1917, 1919 and 1920, he was Danish Champion winning the first championship when he was only 15-years-old. In 1921 he turned professional, fighting in Denmark and Sweden. In 1931 he won the Danish Championship in the bantamweight class but finished his career in 1935 after two knockout defeats. He had 51 professional fights, winning 26 and losing 17, with 8 draws.
